Rather, they’re manufactured patch cards intended to create a cool-looking card more than anything else. That being said, Upper Deck did include several costume cards in the product as well.
Most companies have made similarly styled cards to varying degrees of success. However, they’re premium look carries over into values. 2011 Upper Deck Captain America Insignia Patch cards aren’t worth a lot, but they are more desirable than most basic inserts that might come with a foil coating or a different type of card stock.
