1995 SkyBox Cinderella trading cards offer the most in-depth look at the Disney animated classic that has ever been done in the format. That doesn’t mean it’s deep as far as cards go. It’s more to do with the fact that not a lot has been done with the license considering how big it is.
The overall feel and configuration of the set is similar to virtually every Disney set SkyBox did in the 1990s as the company hit highs with both their theatrical releases and classic hitting home video.
The base set has 90 cards, much of which is dedicated to recapping the fairy tale story. The final third of the set goes in a bit of a different direction with a puzzle and subsets for characters.
Officially, Activity Cards and Pop-Out Cards aren’t part of the main set. But given how easy they are to pull (both are one per pack), they may as well be.
Five Dufex cards bring an etched foil look to the release. Like other SkyBox Disney sets, the colors look sharp. Given how relatively easy they are to find, they’re still inexpensive.
The toughest cards to find in 1995 SkyBox Cinderella are two Transformations cards. These are done in a lenticular format.
