When you factor in all the various shorts, features and TV specials, Disney has done a decent amount of Christmas content over the years. 2004 Upper Deck Disney Holiday Treasures trading cards is a set dedicated to the theme.

With just 50 cards, it’s not a big base set. But even without any short prints, it was still pretty hard to finish because of its configuration. Packs didn’t come in traditional boxes. Rather, five packs came with a pair of small figures. That’s just 25 cards per package. The only inserts are sketch cards, so it’d likely take three boxes to finish off unless you got really luck and hit no duplicates.

The checklist breaks down into a few different subsets. “Holiday Classics” looks at Christmas-themed shorts and features. “All Dolled Up” puts Disney princesses and ladies in winter outfits. Mickey’s Christmas Carol and Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas both get sections on the checklist as well. For the latter, that means some computer-generated takes on Mickey and Minnie Mouse as well as their friends. The set is rounds out with “Holiday Greetings from Mickey,” a postcard-style section that has images from the short Hawaiian Holiday.
