The 2004 Rittenhouse Chronicles of Riddick Autographs are one of those instances where the lineup is stronger than the movie it’s based on. While it’s not a big set, it packs some punch. It’s also home to the only certified Vin Diesel autograph card.
Inserted 1:20 packs, it works out to two per sealed 2004 Rittenhouse Chronicles of Riddick box. The set had a production run of 3,000 boxes.
While the checklist has ten total autographs, only seven were available in packs. In addition to Diesel, other key names include Thandie Newton, Judi Dench and Karl Urban.
Diesel and Keith David are the rarest of the pack-inserted autographs. According to Rittenhouse, Diesel autographs landed approximately one per case.
Most of the 2004 Rittenhouse Chronicles of Riddick Autographs use a design based on the sequel. However, three are from its predecessor, Pitch Black. These have a horizontal design. Also, these cards aren’t in packs. They were used as exclusives and incentives.
A Keith David Pitch Black autograph was distributed as a case topper. Claudia Black was used as a multi-case incentive. The final Pitch Black autograph, Radha Mitchell, came with the product’s binder.
