The 2011 Upper Deck Thor Costume card lineup brings with it a lot of Asgardian threads. The 13-card checklist is dominated by characters from Thor’s home world. That said, there are a couple of notable human inclusions as well.
Similar to a game-used jersey card from a sports card set, each has a small swatch of costume from the movie. A total of ten characters are represent in the set. Thor (Chris Hemsworth) has two cards. This applies to Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and Odin (Anthony Hopkins) as well. Costumes worn by Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Jamie Alexander (Sif), Idris Elba (Heimdall) and Rene Russo (Frigga) are among the other inclusions.
If you’re looking for standout swatches, Elba’s has a ton of texture and shine. As far as rarity and value goes, F2 (Natalie Portman as Jane Foster) tops the list. That said, none are incredibly valuable given their rather plentiful supply.
2011 Upper Deck Thor Costume Cards are inserted 1:12 hobby packs and 1:48 retail. For hobby, they represent two of the three promised hits in each box.
