The 2004 Topps Star Wars Heritage Autographs checklist is by no means large, but that shouldn’t matter much when you look at the names.

Just three exist, all of which are among the most iconic names from the original trilogy. Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia Organa) and James Earl Jones (Darth Vader’s voice) are the lone signatures in the product.

Understandably, they’re not the easiest cards to pull. As far as premium chase cards go, 2004 Star Wars Heritage was more about sketch cards. This was the first set to include such art cards from the movies, so it was a big deal.

The autographs are best viewed as an impressive bonus. Inserted 1:578 hobby packs, 2004 Topps Star Wars Heritage Autographs are about 1:3 cases.

They’re not available in equal quantities, either. James Earl Jones is easily the most common, followed by Fisher. Hamill is the toughest by far. His card is more than twice as rare as Fisher’s and about eight times tougher than Jones.

Besides being the set’s short print, this also marks Hamill’s first certified autograph card. Fisher and Jones both signed for 2001 Topps Star Wars Evolution.
