The Dukes of Hazzard was one of the most popular shows of its time. Decades later, it remains an iconic series whose characters and classic car lives on. Fans have no shortage of Dukes of Hazzard collectibles to look for including trading cards. 1980 Donruss Dukes of Hazzard trading cards don’t have much in the way of info or depth. What it does have is plenty of photos from all the main characters and a few car crashes for good measure.
The entire set has 66 cards with all the content on the front. You can tell it apart from the other two sets of Donruss Dukes of Hazzard trading cards from the blue borders on the front. Images are a mix of shots from the show and posed promotional photos. So you’ve got the Duke boys hanging with the General Lee, cars getting some serious air, Daisy Duke modelling her daisy dukes and Boss Hogg scowl.
The back of each card is a puzzle. So if you’re looking for the inside scoop on the show or some promo banter, you’re going to have to look at old TV Guides.
This is probably the easiest of the Dukes of Hazzard sets to find today. It’s not rare but it’s not overly common either.
