Jack Bauer could save a lot of things. The 2003 Comic Images 24 Seasons 1 and 2 Autographs lineup isn’t one of them. While it has three recognizable characters, the remaining four cards are from executives that a) you probably haven’t heard of and b) don’t make for exciting inserts. It’s one of those sets where all the top names are missing, leaving something that only hardcore 24 fans are likely to chase en masse.

By default, the top card in the set is Carlos Bernard who played Tony Almeida, a key character in several seasons. He’s just not that well known outside the show.

Penny Johnson Jerald played a huge part in the show while she was on it. She’s also been in lots of other shows both before and after she was the show’s First Lady. Penny Johnson Jerald is no stranger to signed cards either. She has autographs in multiple Star Trek sets.

Rounding out the actor portion of the 2003 Comic Images 24 Seasons 1 and 2 autographs checklist is Xander Berkeley. He played George Mason, a high up at CTU.

The remaining four signers are different combinations of writers, directors and producers. While behind-the-scenes folks can fit into some autograph sets, this isn’t one of them. As a result, there isn’t a lot of demand outside of those looking to build sets.

No Kiefer Sutherland, no Elisha Cuthbert and no Dennis Haysbert — amongst others — really hurts the overall appeal of this set. While supply has largely dried up, none of the cards sell for more than $20 today. And even that’s on the high side.
