Buffy the Vampire Slayer had one of the most rabid fanbases during its seven-season run. Inkworks learned this through their numerous Buffy-themed sets. Among them is 2004 Inkworks Ultimate Buffy the Vampire Slayer Collection, a fancy factory set that makes something new out of something old.
The set collects all 612 cards from the seven seasonal sets Inkworks produced between 1998 and 2003. They’re reprinted on higher quality stock and have “Ultimate Collection” stamped on the front. Also, card numbers have a “U” prefix to further differentiate them from the original cards.
The massive factory set comes in a black lacquered handmade wooden coffin box. A plush velvet interior cradles the cards. Each set is individually numbered to 2,500 and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
2004 Inkworks Ultimate Buffy the Vampire Slayers also includes an exclusive seven-card insert set printed on rainbow holographic foil stock. Each season has one card in the set.
Rounding it out is an album to hold the set.
