It took a while, but Inkworks’ first set of Charmed trading cards finally go a follow-up. 2003 Inkworks Charmed: The Power of Three features a strong mix of autographs, costume cards and other inserts.
Of course, there’s the main set as well. The 72-card base set consists of several subsets: The Charmed Ones, Friends and Families, Book of Shadows and more. All base cards will be printed on super premium foil board similar to that of Alias: Season 1.
Inserted one per box, the autographs checklist has some notable inclusions. Headlining are a pair of the show’s leads, Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan. Robert Englund, best known as Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street has his first certified autograph card in the set as well.
While Billy Drago may not be a household name, his signed cards are coveted by collectors. That’s because he inscribes them with lines of poetry, sayings or cryptic messages that appear to be part of something bigger.
It’s also worth noting that Costas Mandylor signed the backs of his cards, not the front.
In addition to the promised autograph, boxes also have a Pieceworks costume card. These fall under two categories. The first is pieces of Alyssa Milano’s wedding outfit from the show. The other three are super hero costumes worn by the three leading ladies.
