2004 Inkworks Charmed Connections trading cards are all about relationships. And costume cards. The set takes on a somewhat familiar theme from the card maker that spanned several shows.
The 72-card base set is done with a premium foil look. Each of the cards looks at a character and how they connect with others. Good, bad and downright evil — all are fair game. Piper, Phoebe, Paige, Leo and Chris are the central threads throughout with each getting a section on the checklist.
Base cards have a parallel version that’s even more shiny. These are inserted one per pack so putting a set together isn’t terribly difficult.
Each 2004 Inkworks Charmed Connections box has a Pieceworks card with a small bit of a screen-worn costume. If you include a variation for Julian McMahon, there are ten different costume cards in the set. McMahon’s card has both shirt and tie versions. One of the Pieceworks, a Piper skirt card, is a redemption that is no longer valid.
Under Their Spell is the traditional Inkworks nine-card foil puzzle. Vanquishing Evil is a foil embossed chase set.
