2000 Rittenhouse Farscape Season 1 trading cards mark the first seasonal approach to the franchise. And while the checklist isn’t the biggest compared to later Farscape sets, it does a good job of introducing key cards from major actors and characters.
The base set has 72 cards. This includes three cards per episode plus a trio of checklists and three title cards.
Each box of 2000 Rittenhouse Farscape Season 1 promises one From the Archives Costume Card. The seven pack-inserted cards cover many of the top characters. Adding to their intrigue is the fact that many of the fabric swatches come from texture wardrobe that isn’t your standard shirt or pair of jeans.
The product also has five autographs that combine to land every other box. Ben Crowder, who played central character John Crichton, is the top signer.
Other inserts include Behind the Scenes (nine card, 1:6 packs), Farscape Star Cards (nine cards, 1:14) and Season 2 Previews (nine cards, 1:8). There’s also one lenticular Motion per box.
2000 Rittenhouse Farscape Season 1 had a print run of 8,000 boxes.
