2003 Rittenhouse Outer Limits: Sex, Cyborgs and Science Fiction trading cards delve into the reboot series that kicked off in 1995. This version may not be as well known as the original. But when it comes to trading cards, that doesn’t matter quite as much when you can focus on several stars. The fact that each box came with three autographs and two costume cards probably doesn’t sound too bad, either.
The 81-card base set is done in a similar structure to Rittenhouse’s Twilight Zone trading cards. It focuses on specific episodes, but not every episode. Rather, it covers select shows from all seven seasons.

The autographs checklist might not have any A-listers, but there are still several notable names. Rebecca De Mornay, Natasha Henstridge, Alan Thicke, Brent Spiner, Hal Holbrook and Margot Kidder are just a few.
Costume cards highlight several recognizable faces who don’t have autographs in the product including Gary Busey, Adam Goldberg and Sean Patrick Flanery.
2003 Rittenhouse Outer Limits: Sex, Cyborg and Science Fiction has just two additional insert sets. This is small by the card maker’s standards. Opening Monologue breaks down the surreal visuals from the credits. Stars of the Outer Limits is one last spotlight for the celebrity guest stars, this time with several images and shiny foil stock.
