The Bowman name is all about one thing: the rookie. Last year, Bowman Draft Picks and Prospects emerged as the set of the year with its creamy crop of first-card wunderkids like Dontrelle Willis, and shiny parallels galore. This year it returns and Topps has announced that Richie Weeks, the second overall pick from this year's draft, will be signing autographs.

Like last year, Bowman DP&P will combine both the Bowman and Bowman Chrome lines. Each pack will have four Bowman, 2 Bowman Chrome and one gold parallel. It's almost granted that the checklist will include many of the top picks from the draft as well as bountiful no-namers that might one day emerge as top stars. It might be a long shot, but if anyone does come out of Main St, Nowhere this is going to be the set with the premier rookie.

Here's a breakdown of what to expect when the set is released in late November:

  • Refractors ( 2 per box)
  • X-Fractors (#’d to 130)
  • Gold Refractors (#’d to 50)
  • Signs of the Future Autographs, Fabric of the Future Relics, Prospects Premium Relics and Team Topps Prospects Autographs.

Each box will include one autograph and one game-used card.
