Overview: 2006 SP Authentic Baseball
Upper
Deck has released the info for the upcoming 2006 SP Authentic set.
Of course it's got the serial numbered rookies, 200 short prints in
a 300-card set, jersey cards and the like. But what's got me jazzed
are the Letterman Patch autographs.
Each player featured in the insert set will have patch letters spelling their last name put on cards. The letters will then be autographed. For example, Albert Pujols will have different cards for P•U•J•O•L•S. Not only do they look cool, but it'll be a challenge to put together a particular player's name. Letterman Patch autographs are scheduled to be inserted one per box.
