Once
a legend of the Harlem black-top, Rafer Alston has reached the big time
in the NBA. Alston, who recently rejoined the Toronto Raptors, has joined
the Topps team as well to provide the company with autographed cards.
All of his 2004-05 Topps autographs will be inked with his nickname
"Skip to My Lou." The first will be appearing in 2004-05 Topps
Basketball's Marks of Excellence insert set, which will hit the streets
at the end of August.
