Overview: 2003-04 Parkhurst Rookie Hockey

The chase for the elusive rookie card is one of the hobby's mainstays. Insert fads may come and go but not the buzz you get when you find a player's first-year card. That's the focus of Be A Player's aptly named 2003-04 Parkhurst Rookie Hockey.

The set's 200-card base set includes a whopping 140 rookies. They're are limited and numbered to boot, with jersey and autographed cards mixed in for good measure.

Rookie card breakdown:

  • 25 Autograph Jersey Rookie Cards (# to 100) - approximately one per two boxes.
  • 25 Jersey Rookie Cards (# to 180) - approximately one per box.
  • 20 Autograph Rookie Cards (# to 120) - approximately one per two boxes.
  • 70 Rookie Cards (# to 500) - approximately eight or nine per box.

Production for this set is limited to 5,000 boxes.
