Pacific
Launches Cross-Brand "Complete" NHL Line
Pacific
Complete, a cross-brand set that will include at least 500 different
players this season, makes its debut in Private Stock Reserve Hockey
packs. Cards 1-100 of the cross brand set will be inserted at a rate
of two per hobby pack and one per retail pack. Cards 101-200 will appear
in Crown Royale Hockey, releasing in February, while cards 201-300 will
appear in Vanguard Hockey, which releases in March.
"This is something a little bit different than what the hobby has
seen for big sets, but it is something that has generated a lot of positive
feedback for us," said Pacific Director of Marketing Jeffrey Morris.
"This set will be a great cross brand insert for team collectors
and star player collectors. The big name players will draw attention,
but so will some of the players considered commons in the hobby. There
will be a number of players in this set where this may be their only
card this season. The set also ties our products together for both the
collector and the hobby dealer."
Pacific
will be dividing the star players evenly across the brands to ensure
that each Pacific product that includes Pacific Complete features both
superstars and minor stars. Morris added that he expects trading both
at shops and on various hobby marketplaces to be active as collectors
try to complete their favorite teams or even complete sets.
Private
Stock Reserve Hockey goes on sale Wednesday, January 15. Hobby packs
include an authentic game-worn jersey card and have an SRP of $14.99.
