Overview: Alien vs. Predator
In
sci-fi circles, the Alien and Predator franchises are
two of the most respected titles in the past 30 years. With a combined
six feature films between them as well as countless comics, novels,
video games and other consumables, their respective universes have
continued to expand. Alien vs. Predator is the latest Hollywood
film to face off two franchises in a battle that promises to be filled
with blood, decapitations and killer box office receipts.
Inkworks is jumping on board with a 90-card set that features story and behind-the-scenes cards complimented by a variety of chase programs including autographs and Pieceworks costume cards. Inkworks initially announced that original sketch cards would be inserted only in sealed cases, but a last-second change saw a few make their way into packs.
Another bonus came just as the set was about to ship. Lance Henriksen who plays Weyland in the film (also one of the main characters in the original Alien film) signed a handful of cards that will be distributed directly to dealers.
