Overview: Family Guy: Season One (Inkworks)
It
began many years ago as a modest hit before being cancelled after
three seasons. Then came the phenomenon known as TV on DVD and reruns
on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. Family Guy was all of a sudden
a pop culture hit, gaining new fans around the world at a rapid pace.
Now the show has been uncancelled and the Family Guy machine
is in full force with its very own trading card set.
Inkworks' set based on the show's first season is driven by sketch cards, which appear one per box. Also included are autographs from many of the show's cast including Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane. The 72-card base set is divided into several categories: Episode Cards, "Meet the Griffins," "Remember When I..," "Brian POV," "Welcome to Quahog," and "Damn You, Vile Woman."
