Overview: Marvel Heroes: The Complete Avengers
Earth's mightiest heroes have a storied history in the comic book The Avengers. From Captain America and Thor to the Incredible Hulk and Spider-man, they've all had a part in the group's history. Rittenhouse Archives (through a partnership with The Upper Deck Company) has combed through 43 years of Avengers history to come up with Marvel Heroes: The Complete Avengers, a set that guarantees not only a sketch card in every box, but a coloured sketch.
More than 40 artists will be contributing artwork on the coloured sketch cards. The big name of the bunch is comics legend Stan Lee who will have a total of 100 cards inserted in packs.
John Czop has drawn a nine-card insert set that will include more than 50 villains. A second insert set will look at the nine founding fathers of the Avengers. Finally, 18 covers from the comic's rich past will be highlighted in another insert set.
A collector's
album will also be made available that will include an exclusive autograph
card from Avengers artist Roy Thomas. The album carries a suggested
retail price of $39.99.
