Overview: Shrek the Third (Inkworks, 2007)
Shrek, Donkey, Pinocchio and the rest of the fractured fairy tale gang are back for a third spin on the big screen and with their third go around in the card realm with its third manufacturer. This time around Inkworks takes the reigns and promises one sketch card in every hobby box as well as a host of other goodies.
The first Shrek set was released by the now defunct Dart Flipcards in 2001. Comic Images picked up the license for Shrek 2. However both sets have largely been forgotten due to their lack of collectibility. And while the absense of autographs is certainly noticeable, Inkworks has made up for it with a collection of stellar sketch cards, many of which are in full color.
