Inkworks
has created a premium trading card set that captures the action and
adventure of the premiere season of Smallville. The 90-card set, which
will be released on November 20, 2002, includes Episodic Coverage, Character
Cards, Welcome to Smallville Cards, Smallville Torch Cards, Heir to
LuthorCorp Cards, Amazing Abilities Cards, and Destiny Cards.
In
addition to the 90-card base set, Inkworks has loaded SMALLVILLE: SEASON
ONE TRADING CARDS with several levels of randomly inserted bonus cards
including:
AUTOGRAPH CARDS - Six different cards: Jonathan Kent (John Schneider), Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack), Whitney Fordman (Eric Johnson), Victoria Hardwick (Kelly Brook), Principal Kwan (Hiro Kanagawa), Dr. Steven Hamilton (Joe Morton).
PIECEWORKS CARDS - Four different cards each featuring an embedded piece of a costume worn during Season One. The costumes are: Clark's t-shirt, Lana's jeans, Pete's t-shirt and Jonathan's plaid shirt.
SMALLVILLE HIGH - A nine-card foil puzzle featuring Clark, Lex, Lana and the gang. (9 cards, inserted approximately 1:11 packs). 250 uncut mini-press sheets of this puzzle have been sequentially numbered and are available for collectors at a suggested retail price of $69.95.
SPRING FORMAL - Six cards featuring fan favorite characters in their formal dance attire. (6 cards, Appx. 1:17 packs).
CASE LOADER and BOX LOADER CARDS: There will be one case loader card (1 card - one per case) and three different box loader cards (3 cards - one per display box).
SMALLVILLE: SEASON ONE PREMIUM TRADING CARDS will be packed seven cards per pack, 36 packs per display box. Packs have a suggested retail price of $1.99. Inkworks has created a unique collector binder designed to hold SMALLVILLE: SEASON ONE CARDS (suggested retail price - $19.95).
