Overview: 2004 Upper Deck Golf
As
long as Tiger Woods is playing, we can likely count on more golf sets
from Upper Deck. The 2004 base set marks their fourth outing and this
time one of the draws is a contest where the grand prize is an invitation
to a clinic from Tiger. The 10 people lucky enough to find a Golden
Ball Marker card will find themselves rounding the fairway and getting
tips from the sport's biggest name. Sounds like the folks at Upper
Deck are borrowing a page from Willy Wonka. And the second prize isn't
too shabby either. A total of 20 Silver Ball Marker cards will entitle
their finders to a cool $1,000.
But this is a card set, afterall so the main draw should still be the cards themselves. Each hobby box will also contain an exclusive golf ball used by either Woods or LPGA champion Annika Sorenstam.
