2002 Fleer WWE Absolute Divas is one of the first sets of wrestling cards dedicated to the female superstars and personalities of the company. Following in the footsteps of the previous year’s Ultimate Divas, the product includes a mix of premium autographs, wardrobe and Kiss cards that are still popular today.
The 100-card base set is broken down into a few themed subsets. The first 45 are basic personality cards. Partnerships is the only place where men are included on the base set checklist. Girls on Film refers to the background added to the photoshoot images while Diva Moments highlights championship wins, awards and other key happenings to WWE Divas.
All 100 base cards have a Diva Gems parallel. Inserted 1:4 hobby packs, they’re most noticeable by the gold logo on the front.
As for hits, there’s at least one per hobby box. The most common are Wardrobe Material (1:23 packs) and Material Girls (1:36).
Diva Ink autographs land 1:198 packs. However, all five of the cards came as redemptions so the secondary market is the only place to find them now.
Lip Service and Signed with a Kiss are the most valuable cards in 2002 Fleer WWE Absolute Divas. These contain lip prints from the likes of Lita, Torrie Wilson, Stacy Keibler and more. Both of these inserts came as redemptions and numbered to 50 copies each. The difference between them is the fact that Signed with a Kiss also has an autograph.
On the basic insert front, each pack comes with one of 30 different Mini Posters. Inter-Actions (20 cards, 1:6) highlight some of the more memorable ladies matches leading up to the product’s release. Cover Shots (ten cards, 1:12) and Tropical Pleasures (ten cards, 1:12) both ramp up the set’s already high sex appeal.
