2024 Topps Throwback Thursday Star Wars is an online-exclusive release with new drops available every week on the card maker’s website. The idea behind it is a fairly simple one: dig out old designs from the company’s portfolio and apply them to all things Star Wars.
Each weekly release, which come out appropriately enough on Thursdays, has three cards. Each design runs for four weeks (12 cards), then it’s on to another one. Baseball, basketball, football, hockey, other moves and TV designs — they’re all fair game.
A couple of chase elements are also part of 2024 Topps Throwback Thursday Star Wars. For starters, there are three levels of parallels:
- Bronze – #’ed/10
- Silver – #’ed/5
- Gold – 1/1
These are randomly included as bonus cards with select orders.
Variations, which change out the photo, are 1:20 sets. Like parallels, they’re inserted as extra cards.
