2024 Panini Minecraft Color Blast proves that the inserts don’t just make for popular sports card inserts. It carries over to entertainment and pop culture as well. This installment is a little bit of a different take beyond the subject matter, but the foundation remains the same — even if it’s a lot more pixelated.
Minecraft Color Blast cards have, not surprisingly, proven to be among the most popular cards in the product. Based on the video game, the checklist includes ten cards. All are characters — nine humans and one Ender Dragon. The set’s arranged to have the human-like characters alphabetically to start things with the dark dragon bookending things. These do not crossover into the territory of the movie so there is no Chicken Jockey.
For those curious about what the most valuable 2024 Panini Minecraft Color Blast card is, it’s definitely Steve and the Ender Dragon.
While some Panini Color Blast cards can fetch thousand of dollars, particularly in basketball and football, that’s not the case here. Not long after the product’s release, Minecraft Color Blast cards were typically selling for less than $50. The two exceptions are the most valuable ones but even they usually sell for less than $200.
Exact odds on the cards aren’t known. Panini didn’t release print runs for them, either. However, they’re believed to be case hits so they’re definitely not super common.
