The 2025 Topps Marvel The Collector checklist takes it to the high-end of the MCU. Drawing inspiration from The Collector, the character who collects artifacts from across the universe, the idea is to curate a series that is all low-numbered cards. It also guarantees an autograph in every hobby box with another strong list of signers.
2025 Topps Marvel The Collector hobby boxes each have three distinct cards. First is a Marvel Perfection base card. That’s followed by a Mystery card, which is an insert. Autographs are found in the final Golden slot.
2025 Topps Marvel The Collector Checklist Details
The 85-card Marvel Perfection base set is character-based. They go back to the MCU’s early films through to 2025’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps. A couple of the spinoff television shows are also on the checklist.
Lending itself to the product’s super premium nature, base cards all come numbered to 100 and use intricate foil. Parallels come in even shorter numbers:
- Orange – #’ed/25
- Purple – #’ed/15
- Black – #’ed/10
- Red – #’ed/5
- Gold – 1/1
Autographs
Similar to 2025 Topps Chrome Marvel Studios, this set has an extremely strong autograph checklist. Not only is a signature guaranteed here, but the list of signers is smaller than Chrome. This means that bigger names should appear more frequently.
Marvel Perfection Autographs are essentially signed versions of base cards. Standard versions are also numbered to 100 with the same assortment of parallels.
The Collector’s Museum Autographs depict characters as though their were curated pieces. These also have 100 copies each for base versions and five levels of parallels numbered to 25 or less.
Additional signatures are available in Treasures of Asgard and Dual Autographs.
Signers include Charlize Theron, Gwyneth Paltrow, Josh Brolin, Chris Evans, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Cate Blanchett, Michael B. Jordan, Paul Rudd and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Of course, Benicio Del Toro, who plays The Collector, has autographs on the 2025 Topps Marvel The Collector checklist as well.
Other Inserts
Leading the Mystery cards are a pair of sketch card themes. Twenty Miller Magnificence cards all have original art from the comics legend. Marvel Arthouse has artwork from more than 30 artists.
Six scarce Infinity Gauntlet cards challenge collectors to land acetate cards from each of the six stones. These have no more than six copies each, though.
The three main insert sets are Show Stoppers, Marvel Tomorrow and Villainy. These are all numbered to 100 with parallels similar to the base set.
Every card in the product comes in a one-touch holder.
2025 Topps Marvel The Collector boxes were advertised as having three packs. Each of the slots is covered, making for an experience similar to a pack reveal, however, they’re aren’t traditional packs. You simply remove the cover and the card is visible.
