2025 Topps Garbage Pail Kids Oh the Horrible expands on the horror theme that has been used in the past both as mainstream releases and, like this installment, smaller online exclusives.
Each week for six weeks a new group of ten cards was released through the Topps website. These had A-B name variations for five new gags, all based on horror films. With the genre constantly expanding, some subjects were very recent like Sinners and Weapons. Some classics from franchises like Halloween and Friday the 13th are also part of the checklist.
In addition to the week’s base cards, collectors also received one of three types of chase cards.
Wrappers combine each of the new characters (five each week) with the classic wrapper layout from the Original Series. These also have Gold Foil parallels that are numbered to 25.
Finally, there are Trick or Treat Original Characters. These take GPK icons and put them in Halloween costumes. Odds and print runs were never announced but Topps did say they were short prints.
Each of the six waves were printed to order. Weekly numbers vary from a high of 3,496 sets to a low of 2,524.
