The X-Files trading card license has been handled by several companies. Topps held it first, producing sets for the first three seasons as well as the first film, X-Files: Fight the Future and a couple of sets not tied to any specific season.

From there, Inkworks took the helm making seasonal sets for the rest of the show’s run as well as X-Files: I Want to Believe and other mixed sets. Inkworks went heavy with autographs and Pieceworks costume cards.

The most recent company to make X-Files trading cards is IDW. They released a series of rare sketch cards as part of an online IDW Limited package.
