2023 Panini Revolution WWE Kaboom marks the first time the coveted inserts have jumped into the wrestling card ring.
Consisting of 25 cards, Kaboom is one of the most distinct chase sets in the hobby. They mix cartoon-inspired images, over-the-top graphics and an explosive foil background. The result is bold, busy and bright. Most cards in 2023 Panini Revolution WWE are, but these definitely take it to another level.
The checklist is a strong one, mixing top current stars like Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch and Cody Rhodes with such past greats as Hulk Hogan, Undertaker and Andre the Giant.
Official odds haven’t been released, but 2023 Panini Revolution Kaboom cards are tough. They’re not serial numbered, either, so speculating on exact quantities is just that — speculation.
As far as values go, Kaboom inserts garner some of the strongest prices in 2023 Revolution WWE. In early sales, they were moving at more than $400 and up. Because of their scarcity and the size of the set, it’s likely these will remain tough to find over time as supply dries up and cards make their way into personal collections.
Kaboom inserts debuted a decade earlier in 2013-14 Panini Innovation Basketball. Since then, the cards have shifted to other sports including basketball, baseball and soccer. No matter the case, the SSP inserts have been one of the industry’s benchmarks.
