In the 1980s and ’90s, Panini was known for its stickers. 1993 Panini Aladdin trading cards were the exception — at least for another 15 years when the company would become active in the card business in North America.
The set is a simple affair. But most sets still were back then, especially those based on blockbuster animated movies.
The 1993 Panini Aladdin base set has 100 cards. That leaves plenty of room for images from the movie. Aladdin, Genie, Jasmine and company are all here.
The product has two insert sets. They’re basic, the checklists are small they’re each inserted one per pack.
Color-In Cards are exactly like they sound. Think of them as a coloring page shrunken down to trading card size. Actually, that’s exactly what they are.
Stickers are done on foil, making them the shiniest cards in the set.
Packs have one of each of the inserts. With only ten of each available, they’re not difficult to put together and are sometimes packaged together with the base set.
