1996 Fleer/SkyBox Toy Story Series 2 trading cards have nothing to do with the Pixar sequel. Rather, it’s a follow-up to the first set of kid-friendly cards for the classic original. Like Series 1, there’s plenty of hands-on elements on the checklist. There’s also plenty of it still out there, keeping prices and values at reasonable rates.
The 74-card base set has lots of variety. Sure, there are your basic story cards. Beyond that, there are stickers, finger puppets and cards that let you build simple 3-D models of characters.
1996 Fleer/SkyBox Toy Story Series 2 has just a couple of insert sets. Two new 3-D Motion cards are the fancier of them. These fall 1:24 packs. Six Color-Me Iron On cards add a wearable element to the product’s interactivity.
