The 2025 Fleer Ultra Superman checklist parallels the Man of Steel today. While there’s a modern feel to it, the end result is also steeped in nostalgia. For longtime collectors, there are a lot of familiar insert themes but the DC Comics spin takes them in new directions.
The overall checklist is a big one but it includes several elements that make for rare chases, much like the early Fleer Ultra sets did for sports cards in the 1990s.
2025 Fleer Ultra Superman Checklist Details
The base set has 100 cards. Like 2025 Fleer Brilliants Superman and 2025 SkyBox Metal Universe Batman, it’s character-driven. Heroes and villains throughout Superman’s long history are featured.
Nine levels of parallels are available for each:

- Black – #’ed/75
- Kryptonite – #’ed/61
- Debut Year – #’ed/38
- Black Mercy – #’ed/9
- Gold Spectrum – 1/1

Most cards also have Red Autographs that are signed by the artist and limited to 92 copies.
The 2025 Fleer Ultra Superman Lineup
Several different styles of cards are present among the inserts on the 2025 Fleer Ultra Superman checklist. Foil, acetate and plexi stock are among the types collectors can find. For Family Genealogy, which are approximately one per hobby box, the cards use faux wood to channel in the idea of a family tree.
Animation Cels, Shield Bearers and the throwback ’95 Retro are among the spots to find acetate. ’95 Retro cards also have a full slate of parallels with Blue, Yellow, Pink (#’ed/299), Orange (#’ed/199), Green (#’ed/99), Purple (#’ed/25), Gold (#’ed/10) and Black (1/1).
Man of Steel (1:288 hobby packs) live up to their name by bring printed on metal.
Other tough chase sets include Kryptonite (20 cards, 1:108 packs) and Bizzaro Variants (nine cards, 1:720 packs). There are also Sketch Cards (1:288 hobby packs, 1:1,200 blaster packs) that have original art from more than 100 artists.
Medallions (50 cards, 1:3 packs) draw from Fleer Ultra’s similar parallels from 1996. Here, parallels include Gold (#’ed/200), Platinum (#’ed/100), Ruby (#’ed/50), Sapphire (#’ed/25), Emerald (#’ed/10) and Black (1/1).
