1994 SkyBox DC Stars is one of the simpler sets of the era for the vast comics universe. Available at Walmart, it definitely lacks the depth of hobby-based releases. That said, what is present is solid and delivers a great look.
The base set is a modest 45 cards. It’s a character-based release with a tight comic image on the front. The overall vibe is similar to what a collector might expect from a sports card, both in approach and design. The light colored borders in particular give off a player card sort of vibe.
Backs do as well, with a mix of vitals and bios.
The 1994 SkyBox DC Stars checklist is arranged by key titles and themes like Batman, Superman, The Justice League and general villains.
Every pack has one of nine Puzzle cards. The only other inserts are four Foil cards that carry 1:18 pack odds.
