2023 Craniacs Series 0 is a soft launch of sorts for a new trading card world created by a couple of hobby veterans. The brainchild of longtime Topps leader, Ira Friedman, and Garbage Pail Kids artist, Joe Simko, the concept lays the groundwork for a rich world of original characters and stories.

Intended to be an initial taste, the 2023 Craniacs Series 0 checklist is a small one. It’s also extremely limited in its production run.

2023 Craniacs Series 0 Checklist Details

The 50-card base set introduces the Craniacs characters. The gist of the story is that the past and the future of the Craniacs worlds merge together and become one. Much like Simko’s work on Garbage Pail Kids and his own Cereal Killers, the art here is both detailed and cartoony as well as extremely colorful.

Each card has a Crackle Chrome parallel. Landing 1:6 packs (one per blaster), each of these are numbered to just 34 copies.

Other inserts include ten Rainbow Chrome foil cards that are one per pack.

The big chase are sketch cards with original art. These case hits are 1:120 packs.
