The 2025 Cryptozoic CZX Jurassic Park Preview set offers a glimpse at a larger release that takes the original trilogy and gives it a modern trading card spin. Available exclusively at the 2025 San Diego Comic-Con, it was also limited to 500 boxes.
2025 Cryptozoic CZX Jurassic Park Preview Checklist Details
This isn’t a big release and it’s not close to comprehensive. That was never the intent. Rather, it can be seen as an announcement of sorts that Cryptozoic had landed the license and showed some of the elements a premium release might offer.
Boxes start with a simple nine-card base set, highlighting a few of the key moments from Jurassic Park, The Lost World, and Jurassic Park III. The Jurassic World films are nowhere to be seen here. Each base card has red foil and is limited to 499 copies. There are also Black Deco Foil parallels that are one-of-ones.
Each Jurassic Park Preview box has one additional insert that comes housed in a sealed holder.
The big one is a Wayne Knight autograph. Knight plays Dennis Nerdy in the original film. He’s also known for starring as Newman on Seinfeld. Base versions have 99 copies. There are also Green (#’ed/5) and Red (1/1) parallels.
Boxes that don’t have an autograph come with a Concept Art insert instead. These go to the drawing board for some of the trilogy’s dino-stars. These are numbered to 99 as well with one-of-one Black Deco parallels also available.
