2010 Topps Star Wars Clone Wars: Rise of the Bounty Hunters trading cards cover the second season of the animated series. While not as flashy as many modern Star Wars releases, this set covers the basics of the show and still offers some chase elements. And because it wasn’t a huge release, even back then, some elements are tougher to find than you might think.
2010 Topps Star Wars Clone Wars: Rise of the Bounty Hunters Checklist Details
Despite the longer name, it’s fair to call this a Clone Wars Season 2 release. The 22 episodes, which do indeed have a lot of bounty hunter action, are covered with a 90-card base set. Shots from the show dominate the front while backs include basics on the show plus lots of interesting trivia and tidbits.
All 90 cards have Foil parallels that have a special stamp on the front. These are numbered to 100.
Sketch Cards and Other Inserts
The 2010 Topps Star Wars Clone Wars: Rise of the Bounty Hunters checklist does not have any autographs. Instead, the traditional hit comes in the form of sketch cards. More than 70 artists provided art for the main cards. Special Animator Sketch Cards feature original drawings from people who actually worked on the show.
Although full-color sketches are possible, most of these cards live up to their name with quick drawings.
Other inserts include 20 Character Foil and five lenticular Motion cards. Animation Cels are some of the toughest to find in the product as they were exclusive to retail packs.
