2018 Rittenhouse Twin Peaks trading cards not only bring the classic David Lynch television series to the modern hobby but it brings the sequel Limited Event Series along with it. In addition to a large number of autographs, the checklist includes a variety of other inserts, the end result of which is a comprehensive look at the small-town mystery and other worldly mayhem that makes the franchise and its characters so iconic.
2018 Rittenhouse Twin Peaks Checklist Details
The 90-card base set sticks to the original series, which ran for two seasons in 1990 through 1991. Each of the 30 episodes is covered over three cards. Each has an image from the show on the front and back along with a detailed synopsis.
Each card has a Vintage Stock parallel. Not only do these use more of an old-school cardboard rather than the modern glossy of the regular cards, but they’re also numbered to 99 on the back.
Printing Plates are also available, although these aren’t in regular packs. Each Incentive box came with a matching set of four plates for either a base card or the Limited Event Series inserts.
Autographs and Other Inserts
Autographs combine to land 1:12 packs or two per 2018 Rittenhouse Twin Peaks hobby box. These come in three different styles. Classic Series, which depict characters from the original run, are full-bleed. Limited Event Series Autographs draw from the revival and have more of a bordered look. Finally, there are a handful of Dual Autographs.
Key signers include Kyle MacLachlan, Madchen Amick, Peggy Lipton, Sherilyn Fenn, Jim Belushi and David Duchovny. Series creator, David Lynch, also has a couple of autographs on the 2018 Rittenhouse Twin Peaks checklist.
The 18 Limited Event Series episodes are covered in a 54-card insert set. It’s done in a similar style as the base set including three-card breakdowns for each show.
Other insert sets include Character Cards (42 cards, 1:12 packs) and Quotable Twin Peaks (15 cards, 1:24 packs). There are also two foil It’s Happening Again cards that are case hits, landing 1:288 packs.
This is the second mainstream set of Twin Peaks trading cards following a release from Star Pics in 1991. A set of postcard-style trading cards were included in a 2007 box set of the show. Rittenhouse did additional sets for the show in 2019 and 2025.
