1993 Topps Ren and Stimpy Show All-Prismatic trading cards bring the same demented sort of humor that made the cartoon a classic of the 1990s. Virtually every card in the product lives up to the prismatic name, bringing a loud shine.
Depending on how you look at it, the base set has either 50 cards or 150. For most, the 50 different illustrations will do. However, each has three different versions, depending on the background prismatic pattern. So if you were going to chase a master set, you’d have 150 total base cards.
Every pack comes with one Sticker. While these use the same images, the numbering is different. Stickers have just one background style.
Cheesy Chase Cards (four card, 1:18 packs) poke fun at collecting and the insert mentality that was taking over the hobby at the time. Like The Ren and Stimpy Show, they’re intended to be tongue-in-cheek.
1993 Topps Ren and Stimpy Show All-Prismatic is the first set of trading cards dedicated entirely to Ren Hoek and Stimpson J. Cat. They appeared in 1993 Topps Nicktoons before this but they shared the checklist with characters from Doug and Rugrats.
