The 1999 Topps WCW/nWo Nitro Autographs mark the second of three crops of, perhaps, the greatest collection of wrestling signatures ever put together. Collectively, the 37-card checklist brings together signatures from some of the greatest superstars of the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s.

The cards are also a reminder of the tragedy that has bestowed professional wrestling over the last few decades.

Among the people with their first certified autograph cards in the product are Bret Hart, Goldberg, Sting and Scott Hall. Several of the notable names have passed away. These include “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Ms. Elizabeth, Curt Hennig and Bam Bam Bigelow.

1999 Topps WCW/nWo Autographs are only available in hobby packs where they’re noted on the packaging. Retail packs don’t mention them and have stickers instead.

Inserted 1:48 hobby packs, they’re not in every box of the product. Rather, it’s more like two out of three.

The entire line of Topps WCW autographs remain extremely popular because of both their reach and depth. At the same time, supplies are fairly low because the majority have long since been absorbed into personal collections. As a result, values, even for lesser stars, can still be strong when you put them up against modern wrestling autographs.
