1996 Wildstorm Swimsuit trading cards send the characters of the Wildstorm comic universe on vacation to somewhere hot and tropical. Living up to its name, instead of epic battles, this is a set that’s all about epic sunshine and the skimpy clothing that comes with it.

No matter how you look at it, this isn’t a complex set. Even for the time in which it was released, the 1996 Wildstorm Swimsuit checklist keeps things lowkey.
The base set has 99 cards total. Designed perfectly for pages and binders, it breaks down into 11 different subsets, each with nine cards. Themes include things like summer sports, island life, outdoor games, watercraft and more. What they all share, though, is that only small amounts of clothing are required.
Largely a pin-up style comic set, there’s a very 1990s vibe. Part of that is the art style. It’s also the characters as many Wildstorm titles are synonymous with the period. This includes Gen 13, Stormwatch, The Authority and more.
The only inserts are nine Miss WildStorm Pageant Stickers. These land 1:6 packs.
