The 2025 Donruss Football Downtown checklist takes things back to the city—and the country, the ocean and maybe even an apocalyptic vision of New York. The chase inserts are like nothing else in the hobby, which is a big reason why the line remains one of the most popular going today.
Getting Around Downtown
2025 Donruss Football Downtown cards come in two styles. The first are the standard versions and carry a vertical design. These are strictly referred to as Downtown and consists of 20 cards.
A separate set of another 20 cards flip things on their side for Horizontal Downtown.
The premise and art style are the same. However, each has its own numbering. For the most part each set has its own assortment of players. Rookies Cam Ward, Jaxson Dart, Travis Hunter and Ashton Jeanty are the only four players to have both Downtown and Horizontal Downtown cards.
Both sets have additional Gold (#’ed/10) and Black (1/1) parallels.
As has been the case since the inserts debuted in 2017, the idea behind the foil cards is to showcase players’ home cities through cartoons.
Going Big at Costco
The jumbo Downtown cards found in 2024 Donruss Football Costco bundles are also back for another year. These aren’t necessarily rare, though, outside of being a store exclusive. And Costco puts things out by the pallet. 2025 Donruss Downtown Oversize cards are one per Costco bundle box.
The checklist for the jumbo Downtowns is the same 20 cards as the standard vertical inserts.
Where to Find 2025 Donruss Football Downtown Cards
2025 Donruss Football has a lot of different pack types. Downtown cards are possible in virtually all of them. That said, not all are in all packs.
Hobby is where both standard Downtown and Horizontal Downtown cards are found as well as the Black and Gold parallels. On the other hand, only standard Downtown cards are possible in tins, no parallels.
Other configurations aren’t out yet. Sales info from Panini mentions them but the exact mix won’t be known until they come out.
