2025 Topps Mint Marvel takes a more premium approach than a lot of other trading card sets centered around the vast comics universe. After initially debuting at San Diego Comic-Con, the product received a public release—but with different packaging.
Each box includes a single pack of ten cards plus one premium card that’s already encased in a one-touch holder.
2025 Topps Mint Marvel Checklist Details
The 2025 Topps Mint Marvel checklist has 120 total base cards. However, it’s tiered. The first 50 cards are Bronze, followed by 25 Silver and 25 Gold. Lastly, there are 20 Platinum short prints that are numbered to 99 copies each.
Character-focused, the design presents them as though they’re set in bars of the featured metal. Backs are basic, offering no further details beyond the card number and character’s name.
Parallels are a little complicated, not so much because of their appearance but which versions cover which parts of the set. All 120 cards have Red (#’ed/5), FoilFractors (1/1) and Printing Plates (1/1). The main 100 cards also get Green Mint Foil (#’ed/75), Gold Foil (#’ed/50), Orange Foil (#’ed/25) and Black Foil (#’ed/10) cards.
Black Shimmer Foil (#’ed/10) are only available for the Platinum cards. This is the same for 20 Black and Yellow Electric Dots Foil (#’ed/10) versions that are exclusive to SDCC boxes.
From here, there are Chrome Variations for the entire set, all of which are serial numbered:

- Silver (#’ed/75)
- Gold (#’ed/50)
- Platinum (#’ed25)
All four Chrome levels have additional Black Refractors (#’ed/10), Red Refractors (#’ed/5) and Superfractors (1/1).
Autographs and Additional Inserts
2025 Topps Mint Marvel doesn’t have a lot of other inserts. Chrome Autographs (#’ed/50) feature signatures from 15 different creators including Frank Miller, Adam Kubert, Andy Kubert and Ryan Ottley. There’s also a special one-of-one Cut Signature card of the legendary Stan Lee.
For sketch card collectors, these are randomly inserted as well.
Doctor Doom Comic Cuts have panels cut from original comic books, each with the iconic villain. Due to the unique nature of each individual card where no two panels are the same, each is numbered as a 1/1.
A special Doctor Doom Chrome card is also on the 2025 Topps Mint Marvel checklist. These are exclusive to SDCC packs. Base versions are numbered to 99 with Black Lava (#’ed/10), Green Lava (#’ed/5) and Superfractor (1/1) parallels.
Gambit’s Deck is the only other insert set in the product. This 52-card set is done like a deck of playing cards and uses chromium on both sides. These are numbered to 99 and have just one parallel, a one-of-one Superfractor.
How to Tell a 2025 Topps Mint Marvel Hobby Box from a SDCC Box
It’s not just the contents that are a little bit different between a standard 2025 Topps Mint Marvel hobby box and one sold at San Diego Comic-Con.
Hobby boxes have three characters on the front: Captain America, Wolverine and Doctor Doom.
Keeping with the Doctor Doom theme of its contents, the super villain is the only character on SDCC boxes.
