By the time the 2007 Rittenhouse Battlestar Galactica Season 2 trading cards rolled around, the line had found its groove. The rebooted show already had two sets under its belt and it was affirmed as one of the greatest modern Sci-fi shows. The checklist features a similar mix of inserts ranging from the somewhat common down to the downright tough. Each box comes with both an autograph and a costume card.
The 2007 Rittenhouse Battlestar Galactica Season 2 base set has 72 cards. Each episode has three cards with a few extras added to the start and finish. The design sticks with the one started in the Season 1 release.
This is one of the stronger groups of autographs Rittenhouse put together for the show. Tricia Helfer, Lucy Lawless and James Callis lead the way. Not only are they the biggest names connected to the show but they’re also the rarest with 200-300 copies each.
The 11 costume cards continue the numbering from the previous two sets. CC31, which has Helfer’s Number Six, isn’t in packs. Rather it’s exclusive to the set’s binder.
Katee Sackhoff is featured on an autographed costume card that was given as a two-case incentive.
2007 Rittenhouse Battlestar Galactica Season 2 has several basic insert sets that cover a variety of themes. Rag Tag Fleet, the easiest of them, explores the ships of the show. Crew Cards are character cards. Alliances delves into pairs, like and not.
Women of Battlestar Galactica is a six-card expansion of sorts from the Bonus Card in the Season 1 release. Just one is included in every 40-pack box.
Finally, there’s the debut of Shelter Posters. Although there are only four cards, they’re inserted 1:6 boxes so they’re understandably tough.
