2015 Breygent Dexter Seasons 5 and 6 sees the show return to trading cards more than two years after the Season 4 set. It continues the premium box set format of the previous release, offering a full base set and several chase cards instead of standard packs and boxes. Like previous Dexter products, autographs are the major draw, highlighted by a couple of key signers.
2015 Breygent Dexter Seasons 5 and 6 Checklist Details
The base set is as straight forward as it gets. A total of 72 cards offer episodic images on the front and write ups for all 24 shows from both seasons. It’s one that covers things well without going overboard.
Autographs, costume cards and prop cards combine to land two per box set.
A total of eight signers are available including lead Michael C. Hall. The other major card is Julia Stiles who rose to fame in such films as Save the Last Dance, 10 Things I Hate About You and the original Bourne trilogy. While there are only eight signers, the checklist has 15 different autograph cards. All signers except Hall have two different. Ink color variations are also available for many, adding more layers.
Three Dual Autographs are also available, pairing Hall with Stiles, Christian Camargo and Maria Doyle Kennedy. Instead of on-card signatures like the solo cards, these use stickers.
All costume cards in 2015 Breygent Dexter Seasons 5 and 6 have either two or three swatches. Joining them are five prop cards.
The scarcest cards in the product are a pair of Super Props. A Shady Lady Motel Keychain has seven copies while a Shady Lady Motel Pen has a print run of eight.
Other inserts include Quotes, Doomsday Killer and Beyond the Script, which makes a puzzle. Each has nine cards with two from each in every set.
A total of 150 cases of 2015 Breygent Dexter Seasons 5 and 6 were produced.
