When the 2007 Artbox Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Update trading cards arrived, the card maker’s formula for the line was firmly in place. In addition to filling in the visual gaps and plot holes from the original release, more autographs, costume cards and prop cards highlight the chase.
Like most other sets of Artbox Harry Potter cards, the base set has 90 cards. The design is identical to the one used in the original Order of the Phoenix set. Numbering carries on from where it left off, expanding the checklist to 180 total cards.
2007 Artbox Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Update Autographs
Every other box has an autograph. While not the deepest lineup compared to some other sets, it still has several notable names including Helena Bonham Carter and Tom Felton. Daniel Radcliffe is featured on a dual autograph card with Katie Leung.
Three Death Eater actors are featured on a set of three signed cards that go together to form a small puzzle.
Brendan Gleeson was included as a redemption. However, he never fulfilled his commitment. Several years later, Artbox finally released a replacement Michael Gambon autograph that used a different design.
Additional Inserts
Every 2007 Artbox Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Update box has one of 15 costume cards. These cover a lot of characters. All come numbered with quantities ranging from a high of 680 copies to a low of 120.
Inserted 1:80 packs, prop cards follow a similar path, albeit in smaller numbers overall. Among them are three masks worn by Death Eaters.
Cinema Film Cel cards return with a pair of frames from a print of the movie embedded in them.
Also included in packs are nine Rare Foil Puzzle cards. Fronts have character images while backs go together to make one large one.
A total of 600 cases of 2007 Artbox Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix were made. Each had ten boxes.
