1995 Topps Star Wars Mastervisions Checklist, Trading Cards Info

1995 Topps Star Wars Mastervisions goes big on art. Big in the sense that the cards are oversized, not with the number of cards on the checklist. In that regard, it’s actually very small.

1995 Topps Star Wars Mastervisions Checklist Overview

Distributed as a factory set, Mastervisions has just 36 cards, each measuring 6 1/2″ by 10 3/16″ — close to three times the size of a traditional trading card.

Like the Star Wars Galaxy line that was wrapping up its original run in 1995, the focus is on art. However, the foundation is a little different. While Galaxy sets had some previously used artwork, there was also a lot of new pieces. With Star Wars Mastervisions, all of the pieces had been used before. Production paintings, art from Galaxy cards and packaging, posters, book covers and even lunchboxes are among the original sources of the pieces.

With the large dimensions, the cards can also double as prints that can be framed and displayed.

Because of the factory set model, it’s the easiest way to find 1995 Topps Star Wars Mastervisions today. Singles are actually fairly tough to come by.
