2023 Topps Garbage Pail Kids Rock and Roll Hall of Lame is a celebration of sorts for the actual group of inductees. From ’80s icons to country classics, the ten-card mini set spoofs some big names in music history. George Michael, Kate Bush, Rage Against the Machine, Willie Nelson and Missy Elliott all get a pair of cards on the checklist.
Available for one week on the Topps website, this was a print-to-order release with an open print run. In the end, 1,297 were sold and produced. This is down a bit from the slightly more than 1,500 for the similar 2022 release that included GPK versions of Eminem, Dolly Parton and others.
Besides a full set of ten cards, each came with a Music Notes parallel. Gold Music Notes versions, each serial-numbered to 5, were also randomly included. Both of these can be differentiated by additions to their borders. Gold cards also use foil stock.
