2023 Cardsmiths Killer Klowns from Outer Space give the horror comedy a set of trading cards 35 years after the film’s original 1988 release. The checklist includes many modern elements including low-numbered parallels and short print inserts.
2023 Cardsmiths Killer Klowns from Outer Space Checklist Details
The base set is a fairly modest 60 cards. Rather than acting as a simple recap of the movie, it’s more focused on the titular clowns and some of their more memorable moments. Mixed in are several artistic interpretations from a mix of creators.
All 60 cards have ten different parallels. Vintage Style Flashbax (1:2 packs) go for a throwback approach, using cardboard stock similar to what might have been used if a set of cards were made when the movie first hit theatres. Rainbow Holofoil and Cosmic Holofoil, both of which are 1:2 packs, go for a more modern and shiny approach.

The army of interstellar clowns get makeovers by artists Keith Shore and Greco Westermann in the 17-card Iced Foil insert set (1:9 packs).
Rounding out the 2023 Cardsmiths Killer Klowns from Outer Space checklist are seven scarce Culture Shokz cards that are 1:96 packs. These are like the similar inserts found in other Cardsmiths releases like 2023 Street Fighter and 2023 Bob Ross.
